It’s been quite a run for the Nike 1/2 Cent, after first being unveiled in a gleaming Magic-themed neon royal this past February. Loved by everyone. Next up was an all black everything flavor for the east coast crowd. (Really DC — even in summer?) For the fall, the just-out metallic silver version carried us, and dropping in stores this week, last up will be this Black/Spark Green colorway, once again tying into a classic Foam colorway that saw new heights last spring.

All themes considered, is this the end for L’il Penny?

“Lesson In Style” : The New adidas Equation

adidas Basketball will be dropping a brand new silhouette on all of us aimed for off-court with the upcoming adidas Equation. Equipped with three snap buttons along the heel, the shoe is actually convertible, and can easily go from a high cut right down to a low in a matter of seconds.

Headlined by two of the biggest names from adidas Basketball and seen here in a clean Black/White colorway for Kevin Garnett and a Red/White for Derrick Rose, the two also go back and forth in this Lesson of Style video below. [KG gets the win in my book with the always crisp sweater over the collared shirt look, but DRose is learning.]

Look for the adidas Equation to drop in January.

PIANO BLACK WOOD BE@RBRICK (400%)

Having been the focus of past MEDICOM TOY collaborations, wood manufacturer Karimoku produces this latest co-branded BEARBRICK. The 400% Bearbrick features a black piano finish with a bright luster giving off a certain plastic-like appearance despite being constructed entirely of wood. A laser engraved logo is also seen on the backside.

Fitted Hawaii Culture Tee & Kakau New Era Cap

New Era really stepped up their game. I'm feeling the Fitted and the T-shirt.

To coincide with its Kaholo sneaker release, Fitted Hawaii put together a t-shirt and New Era to mark the occasion. The t-shirt, dubbed Culture, is printed on charcoal heather gray with a collage of vintage (but the real deal) Hawaiian tattoo patterns, which defines the cultural aspect of the name. Along with the tee is a “Kakau” New Era cap, with the name translating to tattoo, featuring an all over pattern in black nylon with yellow highlights on the band. Both drop this Saturday, December 19th at Fitted Hawaii.

Throwback Thursday: Reebok Pump

Twenty years ago Reebok created one of the most legendary technologies to ever be deployed in a shoe - the Pump. The first shoe to feature the new technology developed by designer Paul Litchfield was properly named the Reebok Pump. All month long we have brought teaser shots, videos, and interviews about the upcoming Reebok Pump 20 shoes that celebrate two decades since the Pump’s release in 1989.

Behind the Reebok Pump was not only a unique and revolutionary design, but also an aggressive marketing campaign. Reebok went head on with print and television ads with industry leader Nike with memorable lines that included “Pump Up, Air Out.”

The highlight of the shoe’s moment in history happened All Star weekend in Miami when Dominique Wilkins wore the Reebok Pump as he threw down for his second Slam Dunk crown.

Each of the 20 stores in the Pump 20 campaign will sell their own versions of the Reebok Pump to the tune of 31 pairs per door this weekend, but each door will also have 29 pairs available of the original White/Blue colorways as well as this one, in Black/White/Orange.

This Can't Be Good: Amazon Ships Lil Wayne's 'Rebirth' to Fans Months Ahead Of Street Date

While most of Lil Wayne's fans will have to wait until at least February in the New Year for his often-promised and often-delayed "Rebirth" album, about 500 Amazon customers who pre-ordered the album are enjoying the record already, thanks to a shipping mishap.

According to sources and an e-mail to Billboard from an Amazon customer, the online merchant sent copies of the album to some customers who pre-ordered "Rebirth." The album began arriving in mailboxes on Monday, Dec. 14, despite a change in the street date from Dec. 21 to February 1.

The release date change - the sixth time "Rebirth" was pushed to a new date - was made last month by Universal Motown, the distributing label for Cash Money, and its distributor Universal Music Group Distribution. Universal Motown and UMGD recalled the album, but roughly one million units were manufactured and about one-third were shipped to accounts when the decision was made to pull "Rebirth" from the schedule, sources say.

Although Amazon received the word to return the Lil Wayne album, supposedly about 500 copies were sent to customers. An Amazon spokesman didn't respond to an e-mail request for a comment.

The decision was made because the latest single from the album "On Fire," is still building. Digital scans of the single since its early December release total almost 6,000 units, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Kid Cudi Kicked Off Lady Gaga's Monster Ball Tour For Punching Fan At Vancouver Show

Another day, another rapper kicked off Lady Gaga's tour.

According to Rap Radar, Kid Cudi has reportedly been kicked off Lady Gaga's 'Monster Tour' for punching a fan during a performance in Vancouver last week.

The incident occurred after an audience member threw a wallet onstage while Cudi was performing.

Michael Sharpe, the man who Cudi punched, decided not to press charges against the rapper because prior to him throwing the wallet onstage, someone else had thrown the wallet onstage and Cudi tossed itt owards him.

Sharpe claimed he threw the wallet back up onstage because it wasn't his. Cudi then came toward Sharpe and began punching him.

It is currently unknown who will be replacing Cudi.

Cudi is the second rapper to be kicked off Gaga's tour. Kanye West was initially slated to hit the road with Gaga but was dropped after causing a ruckus at the MTV Awards in October.

Rapper Nelly Gives Back For The Holidays, Visits Children's Cancer Hospital.

There's a lot of negative things going around about rappers these days. But the rapper "Nelly" is thinking positive and giving back to the community.

Rapper Nelly followed the lead of 50 Cent, Master P, Jay Rock and KRS One and gave back to the community for the holidays.

The St Louis mc didn't let the recent break-in at his home slow him down as he spent time at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Pediatric Hospital on Friday (Dec. 11). Playing Nintendo Wii ,signing autographs and spending individual quality time with cancer patients there.

Nelly knows firsthand the heartache of losing a loved one to cancer. His sister Jackie Donahue, 31 lost a four year battle to leukemia in 2005.

Props to Nelly for giving these kids a gift they will always remember and cherish.
